Presentation #1: The Value of Technician Certification and Laboratory Accreditation Presented by Greg Schmidt, GeoTest and Andy Wendt, Terracon. A review of the various technician certification programs that are available and the content of the certifications. Also learn about laboratory accreditation and the agencies that perform this service. We will also look at the newly updated Wisconsin Building Code and see how it addresses these issues.
Presentation #2: Cement - How it's Made Presented by James Palmer, St Mary's Cement. Concrete is the most used commodity in the world besides water, but without the cement it would just be mud.
